Introduction to Ballet Workshop - Saturday 30th May 2009

Are you keen to start ballet class but never attended before? We understand how daunting and intimidating a first attempt can be, so we have designed this special 90 minute workshop to teach you the very basics, so that you can then confidently join a regular ballet class.

If you’re thinking you couldn’t even hoop when you were 10—think again! Hooping has hit Aotearoa and if you enjoyed it as a kid, you’ll love this new incarnation of an old favourite. Hooping is low impact and will tone your abs, butt, arms and legs, increase flexibility, improve co-ordination, strengthen your cardiovascular system and bring the fun back into your life. The handmade hoops are bigger and heavier, especially
designed for adults, not kids – which means a slower spin and a much more pleasant experience
